    Parkland HS finally pulls out a win against one of the big 3 in conference. LeAnn Flowers goes 3-4 with 2 runs,Katie Beck goes 2-4 with 2 runs, Victoria Cook leads off game with a triple, Meredith Pitts drives in 2 runs, and Morgan Myers goes 2-4, drives in 2 runs and scatters 6 hits over 7 innings, striking out 10 and walking 3 to beat SW Guilford 5-3. Parkland now 9-9 (3-4)

    WP:Hannah Stutts

    Mooresville leading 1-0 going into the 7th inning. Mooresville made a pitching change with no one out, and no one on. NI starting hitting and was able to get a runner home to tie the score 1-1. Mooresville was unable to score in bottom of 7th. In top of 8th NI scored 4 runs. Mooresville was unable to score in their final at bat.

    Parkland at least makes it interesting in Piedmont Triad 3-A for the season by beating Glenn 8-7 Thursday night. Got to game late but was told by both sides that was a good exciting game and the end lived up to it with Glenn down 1 with the bases loaded and 1 out. Soph. Katie Beck pitches entire game for Parkland and hits first ever career homerun. Don't know alot of other details but know LeAnn Flowers had at least couple of hits and Malia Craft had couple of RBI's. Parkland now 10-9 (4-4) with 2 games left.
