The last game was a big let down. Im hoping for a 17 inning nailbiter this time around. That prolly wont happen but I can always hope. I do not think the outcome will be any different this time but will we at least get to see a Runion/Madison showdown?

Hopefully a Runion/Bumgarner showdown will ensue..but. I think that a 17 inning nail biter is asking way too little. I think an 18 inning nail biter where Shane Clawson hits a walk off inside the park drag bunt. That's quite possibly the sweetest ending to a game that I could think of happening.

    I have spoken.

Unless SC has a game like they did against ER they should win. In Shelby to many swings at balls well out of strike zone. Got to be more selective and swing at good pitches. I don't think SC will mercy rule Reynolds at home my guess is SC 5 ACR 1

Laying off balls out of the zone is one of the toughest things to do when facing a pitcher throwing 90+. I dont think SC had an off night agains ER's Ryan Leach, I just think that not swinging at a fastball up is very tough. Same way with his high caliber breaking ball. I think that they will handle Runion much better than they did Leach and I think 5-1 SC is a very good call.

I agree 1cannon0. It is hard to lay off them fastballs but we had a couple strikeouts without seeing 1 strike. Plus we didn't adjust and try to just put it in play. Tried to hit every pitch out of the park and struck out. Look at what Bumgarner did 3 hits and never took a big swing all night. Gotta adjust!

Yeah, nobody likes to lose but you can't win em all. congradulations to ACR in their win against SC. They did everything to win. Maddy didn't have his best stuff but still pitched pretty well. He had a little trouble hitting his spots and didn't keep the ball down enough. Looks like the stats for Runion and Bumgarner were very close to the same. It basically boils down to the timely hitting for ACR. SC didn't get the timely hits they needed to beat a very good ACR team this time around. But, hey it happens to every team from time to time. I think this is what Braves refers to as going FLAT. Gotta hit it to win it!!!!!!!!!!!!
