Freedom 19-4 overall and 9-2 in NW 4A

Game was played at Mars Hill College, good game after umps got there 1.5 hr late... Freedom hit the ball well and took advantage of several walks and errors. Hasson with the win, had no hitter going into 5th. Laurel Gregg is and will be a dominant pitcher. Unlucky today, but a special talented kid.

Heard Alexander beat Dobbyns Bennett 2-0 and lost to Science Hill 2-1. Not 100% sure on the exact score.

Another great effort on the mound by Childers, with 2 innings of relief from little sis.

Haley Hoyle, 3rd home run of the year, all of which traveled a long ways!

    Another one at KM

I was so impressed with KM and Morgan Childers vs. I think Harnett Central in the final four. Regardless of when and where, I remember seeing one of the best pitchers in my life. Morgan C. is tough. Do you mean to tell me that she's got a sister following in her footsteps? Look out 3-A!

I was told yesterday by a very good source that this summer, fall, and winter holds a lot of work for the middle sister, who I believe is a junior. Go get 'em Jo! We've got a couple that are going to be ready next year, too, HaHa!

The younger one is 11 or 12, something like that, and as CF says, a lefty!
