    Gosh - must've missed his posts - they've been edited - guess it was a good thing, tho.

    If the responses are anything to go by - well, maybe he doesnt really deserve all the accolades hes gotten.

    Good sportsmanship consists of both athletic ability and mental attitude.....

    seems like the areas where the fans harrass players the most are the first to condem a player when he reacts.

    Guys chill out; it was just some joking between me and centerfield 8. Why does everyone on here try to make something out of nothing

    He does. Clawson plays alot like Pete Rose. Hustles all of the time and plays with a competitive fire. Not everybody liked Rose from other teams....but his teammates did.

    This situation is a "no big deal".

    hustling and playing with competitve fire and determination is great and admirable - but stooping to a lower level isnt necessary is it?

    but no worries - its the double standard that we live by today - some behavior is okay and accepted for some people but not for others.....

    personally, i have never agreed with fans harassing players - but thats just me....

    wait until you get to college. it's a wonder some of these guys don't turn into basket cases from the abuse they take on the road. they'll be called every name in the book and then some

    ??? are we talking about arguing with an ump on a bang-bang play? That's the only incident I'm aware of.

    And Moesyak is right. You better become thick skinned in college. You'll be called names you never heard of before.
