let's see i think you won 3 playoff games by 1 point that's good for you and you should be proud of your team and you did have a good team that did not give up. that said i don't see anywhere your expreesing your thoughts about beating the others, just that the acr win put you on the map and i'll grant you that. remember you finished 2 games back in the conference last year and until you've shown the ability to win more than one game in a series then i say you're not a powerhouse yet.if the history of the nw4a shows anything it's that the thought that the conference championship will be decided in boone when acr comes to town is certainly premature.

once again yes i know i was wrong comparing our running backs state to last years and not the end of this one... i apologize again... for some reason he still beat ac and is just as good or better then ac can put out. I gaurantee it will be a dog fight up at watauga for the conference championship with AC. We will see if AC goes out wide eyed and shocked again with a loss... or if they go out with a smirk on their face. I predict the first one. Mr B was strong and big enough last year wasnt he?

so does it count as less of a win if you only win by one point.... do they let the other team stay in the playoffs if they only lose by one... no they dont... it doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile... a win is a win... all it sais to me is the other team gave up and got cocky. Watauga will have a big season again. It all depends if other teams underestimate them again or not.

Looking at the scoring summary from last year's playoff game "Mr. B" only accounted for a total of 6 points. How come you Watauga fans don't give the rest of the players on the team any credit for the win as well?

    SCORING SUMMARY:

Watauga: Wallace 10 pass from Beason (Kostis Kick)
ACR: CJ Davis 5 Run (Roselli Kick)
    Watauga: Kostis 27 FG
ACR: Alec Gordon 14 Run (Roselli Kick)
ACR: CJ Davis 45 Run (Roselli Kick)
Watauga: Martin 52 pass from Chiarolanzio (Kick NG)
ACR: Safety Watauga Punter Downed Out Of End Zone
Watauga: Safety CJ Davis Recovers Own fumble in End Zone
Watauga: Eric Breitenstein 55 Run (Pass NG)

i do think some other players will have to step up 40 times a game is to much for a back that plays db to.but i know we have some kide that will step up and get the job done the game at acr proves that.

well you could've lost game 1 and no one would even guive you a sewcond thought. creit to watauga for winning their games by 1 or any amount but close games can go either way and usually come down to a break here or there. you got them lat year. will you next year?

you still have to make the most of the breaks you get and that what watauga does.rather you win by 1 or 10 its still a win and they still had to make plays if it was just luck we would had lost one of those games

Watauga fans- Its ok, if they don't want to take us seriously. Let them keep doubting. Just as long as we believe, everything will work out. Lets fly under the radar. Just keep Friday nights in Boone rockin. :drummer:

you are absolutely right... it was a team win that night... a bunch of people stepped up... i also think you will agree that the one that sticks out in that bunch is the very last one at the biggest time of the game being a 55 yard run by EB. Yes, without some of those plays we lose... but without EB we arent even in the game. Remember that he is just as good or better on defense that he is on offense. He accounted for alot of stopped TD's on the other end. But yes i agree all of wataugs players deserve alot of credit for stepping it up, especially the two sophomores catching touchdown passes.

However, without the blocking there is no 55 yard run.
