    rained out. stay tuned for re-schedule. whoever wins the rescheduled game will be considered conf regular season champs for the # 1 seed going to playoffs.

    thanks again for the links and all those area updates......please let us know when that WJ/Clayton rescheduled game is announced. got family in the area who are interested in attending. TIAA

    LT is something else, special for sure, an a Wolfpacker now....:1luvu: and wouldnt be surprised if they won the 3A State either.

    the Lancaster kid is tuff from what i've seen and contiunely hear about and this upcoming playoffs should be again exciting down East too! Emily Jordan is a nice addition to their pitching staff @ CB Aycock!!!!!

    I know that good coaches can work miracles with sometimes average talent. I'm a proud ex-coach that was very blessed with Amanda and Sarah on our roster. These ladies have been controlling the circle for years. Fine parents also. This game is on the level of a Leonard/Sutton, Burr/Peeler,Ward,Glosson, etc.

    Oooooops, they were the talent, I as coach and TBR post writer, below average.

    It was a 6-1 victory for West Johnston over Clayton for the Greater Neuse River 4A conference regular season championship, & # 1 seed into the playoffs.

    WJHS BEAT CLAYTON HIGH SCHOOL 6-1 FOR THE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP. AMANDA DAVENPORT GOT THE WIN WITH 1Ok'S, O BB AND 2 HITS IN 7 INNINGS. CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT STARTS FRIDAY.

    I've got to give my props to ya girl. TBR needs " in the know folks", You and B fit that mold. I'm very proud of Amanda. Theres no doubt in my mind that DD will keep the pace. And what a pace it is! stats don't lie. WJ has great squad and should go far this yr. Good luck all the way.
