    Lady Knights slip by the Rebels in a last inning thriller.
    Well pitched game by both sides. Lead flip flopped by both teams.
    4 double palys in the infield. North turned a 5-4-3 and a 1-2-3 in the early going. West's Holley Hoover had a 6U-3 . Then with runners at first & second North turned a 6-5-3 DP that turned the tide in the 5th.
    Score tied in the the bottom of the 7th.
    E.Torbert reached on a miss handled come backer to start the inning.
    Feldon singled up the middle . J. Torbert fly out to RF. Both runners advance. With one out and first base open. It appeared that the Rebels
    were going to pitch around NL Slugger Kayla Alexander to load the bases.
    But, The first pitch got away to the back stop and Torbert scored from 3rd to end the game

    Central scored two in the second on a bases loaded single, then two in the third on three hits to take a 4-0 lead, Hopewell came back with one in the fourth on a walk, hit batter, and an error to make it 4-1. Central was leading 4-1 with two outs in the 7th, gave up an a walk, a infield hit, and error, and another hit, then CC scored on a walk, and a walk off triple in the bottom of the 7th to win it, Hopewell showed alot of resolve by not quitting and coming all the way back. But hopefully the win will both teams in the playoffs. Melton pitched a really good game for Hopewell, Good luck to Hopewell in the playoffs

    ER played well tonight and have been for the latter part of the season , could make a deep run in the playoffs .

    SWR 24-1 , Super Job Cougars , next week the fun begins .

    CC was leading 4 to 1 going into the 7th. Hopewell at bat. With two on and two out the CC catcher dropped the ball and a throw was made to 1st base. The throw was high and went down 1st base line. Two runs scored. With a runner on 3rd. Next batter up got a hit and runner on 3rd scored. That tired the game 4 to 4. CC coming to bat. In bottom of 7th with a runner on 1st Pam Wade sent a bullet down the left field line scoring the winning run for CC. Heart stopping game in the last inning. I loved it!!! What excitement. You could feel it. What a way to end the MECA 6 Conference Tournament.
