i realized who your talking about... and you are right he is just as much of an athlete as eric... but not as good as a football player... what he lacked was persistancy and juking but usually made up for it with speed... although i feel in highschool he would have done much worst then in middle school... i actually played for the east against eric with the lions. Adam was on my team and he was our running back. I had to take the abuse of getting beat up by eric like the other teams in the league. I remember every time i touched the ball the first thing i looked for was #2. I was running the ball once and looked up and didnt see him so i thought i would have a chance to get a few before getting hit by someone else... i started to hustle around to the sideline and all of the sudden felt myself go head first into the ground about 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I looked up to see EB standing over me with a smile on his face. Good memories back in the day. But good points with the athlete you were right about the speed and athletic ability, but he still wouldnt have done near the things eric has in highschool for football. He was much better at baseball too.

MTN...You are right. If that kid could have stayed on track, he would have been a great athlete. In keeping with this thread, I have been saying for years that this rising group of Juniors and Seniors are going to do great things in athletics for WHS. It is no suprise to me that we are doing well in all sports. However, the conference championship still has to go through ACR until proven otherwise.

there are also 2 kids i know at watauga who dont play football not because they got in trouble but simply they choose not too,one of them played with eric in middle school and he outrushed him in total yards and TDs with less total attempts (although eric has considerable size advanage and was a better defensive player) the other kid would be a great WR, speed to match anyone and hands like nobodys business and i can tell you right now if WHS had them on the roster...that team might be unstoppable
but at what point did this thread become about wataugas potential if they're kids played? lets hear a bit from the other 6 schools!

first of all your talking about earp... and although he would be good he wouldnt be as good as eric now... too small and eric gets his yards off of not being taken down and juking instead of just speed... but who in the world is the wide receiver?
