Really wasn't any statement made. What Moose was refering to was he hit Bumgarner in the shoulder with his first pitch to him. It was a slow curve ball that just got away from him. No way in that situation would he have hit him on purpose. That became SC's first run of the night. Good game by SC tonight. Couple guys still need to pick it up a little though. Some are swinging at fastballs way out of the strike zone especially up high. Bumgarner threw well but I've seen him better. Scouts had him on the guns topping out at 95 mostly 93 and 94. Chavis is hitting well and playing with a lot of fire. Stanberry made a big catch in left to end a inning.
As a footnote this is the biggest crowd I've ever seen for a high school game with the exception of state championship games

North Davidson 4 Greensboro Page 0

Clay Watson threw an impressive 3 hit complete game. I don't think he hit or walked a batter. This is his 2nd 3 hitter in a row (last week vs. East Rowan).

Page was gritty, but made a couple of key errors that broke the game open. North plays at home Friday vs. the winner of East Rowan/Davie. Keeping it in the conference....

11-0 Bulldogs....Congrats to the bulldogs....great performance against a pretty good team they had already beat 3 times...to 10 run Weddington again is quite a accomplishment... ..

By the way, they beat Providence twice, 6-4 at home and 6-1 at Providence .....For some reason people continue to ignore them, which could be good for Butler...Go dogs!

I promise you no one from SC is overlooking Butler. They know of their talent and that if they meet them it will be a tough game. Still they both have to win another game to get to each other
