Nw4a was very weak overall this year and it made the teams look better than they were. I know Mcdowell lost in the first round too. we need to step it up in our conference overall next year to compete with the others

great year indeed and like most teams.....a few bad innings but teams do progress with the bball players getting into softball shape, injuries and the nature of the game....getting better, chemistry and the likes, at the right time of the year. Beating EG early in the year was a good win and not too sure that would be the case now during the playoffs. Two good teams from the NW4A have alot to look forward to next year and have enjoyed watching.

    Ashley Hasson, Congratulations gal!

contiune the hard work and we look forward to seeing you play soon...along with T. Brown at McDowell!

    reporter.....agreed

pitchers are improving and as most of us know......work, work and more work Works out in the long haul! competitive conference but at the state level....second/prolly third tier at best this year. jmo.

titans scored on 5 errors and 5 or 6 hits over 9 innings but it was an entertaining game though.:08:

Thanks Coach, agreed on the quality teams as you guys are as well! TonyNC, Maybe you should catch a few of PHS games before making a statement like that my friend. It is insulting to the Patriots and the Panthers. It was a hard fought game with good plays, hits and mistakes on BOTH sides. That is why you play the game, never know what will happen. I enjoyed watching how much both of these teams wanted the win and do anything to get it. The WP for PHS, Brittany Sheats, is one of the better ones around and shuts a lot of teams down. She is a senior heading to UC San Diego to play college ball and get a great education. Both pitchers had good nights overall. Much due respect to Freedom; great year ladies!

How did Wallace do last night against E. Gaston? Was pitching not solid for McDowell or did E. Gaston just get lucky? McDowell was one of the best teams around they just hit a few snags but there batting lineup is a great one and hard to defeat them when there all on the ball.

No luck at all involved in EG's 9 hits, or victory for that matter. I think it was just a case of certain people on this board under estimating an opponent.
