Now that my sons HS career has come to an end I just wanted to be a proud Dad for a second. He finished his three Varsity years with three straight conference titles, (first time in the history of the school) and some very good stats.

    69-167 .413 AVG.
    18 dbls
    7 trpls
    5 HR
    62 RBI's
    Team Defensive MVP
    1st Team All Conf.
    1st Team All County
    County Player of the year

Might be some more awards to add as the senior stuff hasn't been awarded yet.

Not trying to sound like a braggart just sharing with you guys.

Not trying to be a wet blanket here, but didn't Anson win that conference this year?

It says alot for a kid to accomplish such in spite of the fact that he has had to deal with mark Tarleton...:laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4:

Seriously, Mark is a great friend of mine and you should be very proud of your son!!

Anson and Piedmont finished with the same conference record, thus co-champions.

Coach you wouldn't believe this but Coach T and myself actually played Little League ball on the same team. Overnite Trucking at Nevins-Derita.

And by the way, thanks for all the kind comments fellas.
