This round is when the major upsets can occur. It just takes one hot pitcher and in this round each team has at least one.

NW Guilford swept Grimsley during the season and then in the conference tournament Grimsley defeated NW Guilford, so it should be a good match-up especially since Grimsley is very hot right now!

    Harrington pitched 3 innings..true.
Apparently he didn't have to pitch that many pitches.
    He'll be ready for Friday.
He also hit an inside the park home run..or so I was told.
    I'll go with Alexander.

South Caldwell will mercy rule Crest..no doubt.

Davie is on a tear. Whit's pretty nasty, not gonna lie.

And I don't know NW Guilford or Grimsley..but NW Guilford has more letters in their name so I'll pick them.

    I have spoken.

i think in the bulter alexander game the pitching will be on but the butler bats will come alive and just score more runs than them and that will be the game, i love it though 24-1 and ppl still pick against us lol

I guess they figure since you all lost a game...they have a chance. Kinda like that Dumb and Dumber movie when Jim Carey asks this beautiful girl if he had a chance to date her. She said 1 in one million. He said, "So...I gotta chance"

    Thoughts ?
Well, only two Impact top ten teams left and they don't play each other until Tuesday.
Is this due to the expanded format or has parity hit NCHS 4A baseball ?

I think SC will make it to Tuesday but I wouldn't be to fast to say that Butler will. If Harrington is going to pitch for Alexander, Butler better bring their A game. This kid is tough and IF he is on he can make hitters look real bad. I'm glad they have to face him next and not us. Butler is probablly the better team of the 2 but on one and out and facing a teams ace who is a good one you never know. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Butler this year so I can't predict a winner but I have seen Harrington so I know AC has a great chance
