Of the 3,000 that attended this game last night, do you guys not have a comment on the game. How about it centerfielder, U-R-Out, PhillieDave, anotherspartanfan, Providence folks, etc.

I thought it was one of the better games I've seen this year. Providence has a good team and the game was really closer than the final score. I think the game changing play was the catch in left by Stanberry. If he misses that Providence would have probablly taken the lead and the momentum. We still messed up on the basepathes a little and swung at some bad pitches (high)
Mailman is a good pitcher and I think I would not have been so fast to pull him but I'm sure his coach knows him better than I do. Still I was glad when they made the pitching change. Most of the guys from the no. 4 hitter on down are hitting pretty good right now and if 1, 2, and 3 get hot We will be tough to hold down the rest of the way
I loved the crowd and atmosphere last night. SC is definantly a baseball school as is most of caldwell county. We had to go to Crest 2 years ago and get beat up in the football playoffs now maybe we can show them the same in baseball ( the only true skills sport) Boy I'll get bashed for that statement

The only thing I can say is WOW, what a game!!! Madison looked as focused as Ive seen in a while. So did the entire team. Thought my wife was going to have a nervous breakdown.:hyper:

If a nervous breakdown buys you a win, then rejoice.
It's the therapy sessions after season-ending-losses that are hard to swallow.

The great thing about one and done is you never know. I was at Crest the night TC Roberson and Cam Maybrin rolled in to town and the Chargers had no shot. The game ended with Cam and crew rolling back up the mountain and the Chargers going to the next round.

Looking forward to the big crowd Friday night at Crest.

    GO CHARGERS!

Smashmouth; can't wait to get to Crest on Friday. I've never been to a baseball game there. How is the seating. Do we need chairs or just a cushion. Is there room for chairs and a big crowd?

I'll be honest, there's not a lot of room. You will want to get there early. Everyone should get a chance to know each other a lot better.:euro2:

    Been waiting on ya

Wondering when you would be heard. And Smash, you are exactly right, on paper it may look a little lop-sided, but they don't play the game on paper now do they.

You don't get to round 3 without being able to play, and Crest can play. We must not look past this game, remember what happened to ACR when they looked past Weddington (in my opinion that is).
