TBA, you are exactly correct. All this talk about SC / Butler on Tuesday, did I miss something; has Friday's games been canceled? AC and Crest are more than capable opponents and deserve to be in the third round of the playoffs. Lose focus on the game at hand and read about your misfortunes in the next day's paper.

From what ive heard and also seen im gonna have to say the cakewalk begins for SC... Crest won their game against Watauga because Watauga beat themselves. Although never the less this is a win for Crest it shouldn't have happend. Crest won off of a rundown at the plate that Watauga butchered by throwing the ball away. Watauga then tried to steal home with 2 outs and the bases juiced. Dumb mistakes by Watauga led to a Crest win... not Crest being dominant. Look at reality... i hate to say it but it looks like a bashing by SC in the third round. With Crests field its almost like a good junior league team playing a good little league team. Good luck though Crest... it just seems like SC is playing like they are in a league above everyone right now... youve got your hands full.

    OH! OH!
And Madison is a really bad pitcher.
So Crest get's to face Jimmy Messer, a lesser pitcher than Madison.
And they both have lucky clovers up their butts..so if Crest can find them, they can win.

    ....wait.
    SC mercy rule in 5.
Messer throws yet again another quality game.
    4+ HR's by SC..Crest doesn't score.
Shane Clawson hits 5 of the SC 7 HR's by the end of the 3rd inning.
Then he gets tossed...for roaring at the Crest fans. (really unsportsmanlike)
    Chavis has a game.
    Bradley Craig kills the ball.
Sheehan jumps over the fence down the 3rd base line to rob a foul ball.

    End of story.

Some might read those and think those are pompous predictions.
    I think not.

    Marc Church

Marc Church is a big reason for the sharp mentality of the SC pitching staff. Not the talent they bring but the poise they display. Everyone Agree?

Marc Church is definitely one of my favorite South Caldwell players of all time. He was the State MVP for American Legion in 2000 when Caldwell County won the state championship. He is a fierce competitor and will be a big asset for SC.

The game was what I had hoped for and expected. First time seeing Bumgarner pitch. WOW is about all I can say at this point. Would like to have the future that young man is going to have. The crowd was terrific, would like to see more turn outs like that in Mecklenburg County. SC is a very strong team, well coached. But I have said it all along, .... pitching, pitching and more pitching will get you to the top. Hopefully , SC and Butler will meet down the road. I was walking back to my seat from the concession stand with a hot dog in hand, when someone ran by me and stole the darn thing right out of my hand. He was laughing when he ran (?) by. Was that you Braves?????
