I personally have not seen East Rutherford play this year, however, i have heard they have beaten Shelby three times by a large margin in each contest. After seeing Shelby have their way with the falcons at West Henderson, who is a very good team with what i see as a pretty solid lineup. How good is East Rutherford? Any predictions on tuesday nights game?

    Forget

1A 2A 3A or 4A ER might just be the best team in the state period. They are loaded.

North Davidson is the only team to beat them all year. The score of that game was 8-0. And east rutherford is a legit ballclub. They have the most talented lineup as anyone ive seen this year and maybe ever.

I don't know how anyone beat them? I watched the South Caldwell game, and if those 2 played every night, I would be there.

ER is loaded to the gills, and has a great Coach. They are prepared, and they work hard!

My son graduated from North Henderson last year and he also played travel ball with 6 of ER's players so we went to the North Henderson vs. ER game and saw ER just destroy North. Not that that was a suprise because they have done it to teams all year. Those kids at ER are great ball players and also more importantly good people. Even though they won so easily they didn't rub it in North's face. They just continue to roll on to the next game.

Because they are such "good people" and have treated my family and my son like family I hope they win it all.

My son also played on that travel team, so we went to the SC-ER game in Shelby last month.
It was a classic rematch of the old Caldwell Cobras vs Forest City Thunder games.
It was a pleasure to be a part of that baseball family for a year.
When you think about Dusty Quattlebaum,Jordan Robinson,Kyle Trotter,Blake Cheeseman,Nick Eddy,Ben McCurry and others who played at other high schools, it was quite a collection of talent.
Good luck to the "good people" !

My son played for the Caldwell Cobras against the Forest City Thunder team and those were some of the best games we ever had. Every tournament we played I always looked forward to playing the Thunder becuase of the talent they had. I truely feel that teams and games like that is what made SC and ER as good as they are today. Good luck to both SC and ER in their bid for state championships. Both teams truely deserve it as hard as they have worked for the past 6-8 years.
