    Not to cross threads here...but more reasons for the 43' pitching distance (or more), and the increased base length...sorry, just couldn't resist. Now back to your normal programming...:52:

    Would moving the mound back not give the batter more time to see the pitch and a better opportunity to kill the ball??????? I think we just need to go back to wooden bats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You may be right about "killing the ball" at the 43' distance. I was thinking about the increased reaction time for the pitchers (and infielders if you move the bases back). Most of the pitchers seem to be in favor of the 43' distance, claiming "more movement". Now as for the wooden bats, you may be on to something there....

    loving every minute of raising one kid PRICELESS!!!!

    would somebody please get this guy to silence the 70' bases. he can't ever talk about anything but some kind of change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like alot of people said in another thread, go and watch baseball, tennis , golf or something, I'm sure those sports need some changes ! :evil2:

    Not skeered BUT

    No mine isn't skeered, she is young and thinks she is invensible, like they all do when they are young, that is why God gave us parents to make important safety decisions for us! Like wearing mouth guards, batting helmets, cups, etc....
