Don't expect errors from CC but happens to the best! ND can put lots of pressure on U with speed and good bat control. Mike is a great coach that U don't hear a great deal about on this board. He and Monte will have that State team rocking!

 

Mike does that with his teams..............always has! 2001 comes to mind for me personnally.

the West team should be fun and rocking. cant wait to watch 'em get it on!

 

East Davidson @ North Lincoln

East is swinging hot bats. First play of the game North dropped a sure
out at first and the flood gates opened. East scored 4 in the first and pounded out 18 hits in the game never looking back...Taylor Vance of
East hit a Grand Slam in the 4th. North managed 12 hits but they were scattered. North ends season @ 20-7. Congrats to ED and Good Luck
next game @ Central.

Congrats to North Lincoln

I have been to quite a few North Lincoln games. They are a great team to watch and exciting to watch. The Juice, two Turbos, Amanda at second, Kim Shomaker. April Wilson are fun to watch. They had great year and I am going to miss them.

Speaking of hot bats. Taylor Vance went 4 for 4 against North Lincoln and had 6 RBIs Her Aunt told me she has had 12 hits in last 14 At Bats She also made two great defensive plays at Third. East will have to step it up against Central Davidson Central has beat East 3 times this year

ND vs CC

It's not like CC to make that many errors but it happens to the best and as long as they learn by their mistakes they will only become stronger.
I am still proud of Morgan she kept her composure on the mound really well.
She kept a poker face the whole time and couldn't tell what she was thinking which is hard for most pitchers to do.

As far as Hopewell they are a very stong team too and I think this will also be a Great game to see.

Heart breaker for Crest

Thanks for the kind words, it was truly a heartbreaker for the Crest girls, they were taken by surprise in the 7th inning. Good luck to Alexander in the next round, Alexander girls were well diciplined and great sportsmanship from the team.

The SWR girls had there bats going tonight cranking out 13 hits and playing great defense behind Anna Maness's strong pitching performance .
ER threatend in the top of the first when there lead off struck out ,then the second batter walked and then a rip down third base put runners on 1st and second ,next one hits a grounder to the SS that throws to first for the second out but leaves runners on 2nd & 3rd ,next batter hits a line drive single into right but our right feilder , Holly Berry , fielded it on the hop and fires to first just in time for the third out erasing the run that scored ,that pumped the team up and that was all she wrote ! Raliegh Bound
