    Just a opinion...

You guys get so worked up over one game...you saw one game...Had you seen them play more you wouldn't be saying things like Providence is the better team, NW4A better than SW4A, etc..They were 14-0 in the conference....Sc won and thats the deal...Every dog has his day...Again, just a opinion!!
I do believe SC will take the State title if they hit the ball in the lower half of the lineup and they play some defense...Course with their pitching, they hadn't had to play a lot of D....I'm rooting for them!!

    For the Record

As it has been mentioned last night was just one game, and it is hard to base things like conference strength, etc. on one game. I think the top 4 teams from each conference were very solid and represented their conferences well.

As far as SC, they are an extremely talented team who has had some ups and downs with the bats this year, however the defense has been steady and solid except for a couple of hiccups all year. Last night was very un-characteristic for SC to have the errors they did, but as you could see the bats are coming back around, and the excitement level keeps growing.

This is a very special team, and I know a lot of people are wishing them a very special reward!

    Stay the Course!

Obviously, if you look at the scores of the games with SC vs Providence/Butler it would be understandable to conclude that Providence was stronger...but they weren't. This was Butler's year and they had the better team. It just didn't show this game...it happens.

I was glad to see Hunter Glass go yard. This kid is awesome!

South Caldwells coaching staff were raving about the Butler softball pitcher, this young lady is out of this world.
Our coaches stated that she was appx. 6'3" is this true. You see we are not accustom of seeing girls that tall in the halls of Southcaldwell.
