    yeah and a sweet reward to the winner. another great county with some outstanding players and hs teams.

    Yes, for example Pitt has "owned" Babe Ruth all-star softball supremacy for many years in East NC. Made it work smoothly as part of their TB efforts.

    Harnett game and CH v. Fuquay

    First I'd like to say that there are no losers in HS or TB fastpitch. The cool thing is the matchups like South central and Conley, CC v ND, Butler etc. Now for the update. Chapel Hill was in the top of the 10th, Debbie Goldbach reached 1st, Rachel Sawyer was intentionally walked ( great hitter but I ? moving the winning run into scoring position ) RACHEL BROCIOUS, to me TBR the most talented fastpitch player who chose to leave the TB cicuit and focus on school sent one up the middle, scoring Deb, with what ended up as the winning run. Fuquay had a batter launch one deep that hit the top of the leftfield fence but popped back in. I'd like to print her name here, but my buddy at the game wasn't clear on her name.See next post.
