Does anybody in the sports world know if any kid at the age of 12 has ever played a high school sport in the state of N.C.??...Because, I know of a kid that has due to her skipping (2) grades, and she was 12 years of age when she was in the 9th grade...Her dad has requested this answer....PLEASE RESPOND if you have an answer...Thanks, Guru

They often do in South Carolina as 7th and 8th graders are allowed to play on the high school teams.

I think you have only four years of eligibility. I know of a 8th grader that was offered to play softball in HS but declined so that she could play all four years in High School. I dont dont know of a minimum age, but there may be one. She was 14 at the time.

Guru that was a joke my friend I have very thick skin after all these years on a ballfield coaching.(since 1981) I guess its being out in the sun that does that.
I am very, very proud of what our Butler girls have done But I never brag about anything. Its just not my way.
