Last night it showed him late in the game as if not watching the game, with head down, or walking around seemingly not paying close attention, very silent / stoic, "taking a back seat" in the whole drama. This was during Tenn at-bats.
Think he was just stressed out? , sort of like .... well I just as soon not watch this, or at this point I've said or thought all I can, it's all up to the girls.

    Was kind of weird.

    A little stressed

Saw the game and he was a "LITTLE" stressed and as some "NOT ALL" guys do, they let the wife handle it.

All jokes aside, i feel that way when daughter plays and it's a close game - can't watch, on the edge of their seats. So not sure if it's strange or not.
Will be watching so TN can take it all and WIN...

I think the man was just about to bust with nerves! I can imagine that would definately be an extremely nerve wrecking situation!

    Tennessee Californians

The coach was probably wishing he had a couple more Girls from Cal.Their lineup last night had 5 starters from Cal. , Pitcher from Cal. , 2 Girls from Hawaii , 1 Girl from Kentucky and I think 1 from Missouri. Tenn Roster has 7 Girls listed from Tenn I do not think they got to play ???
The Two teams from Texas had over 90% from Texas , DePaul had some from Illinois , Northweastern had Girls from their area, Washington The same. This is not a good example of the State of Girls Fastpitch Softball in Tennessee
I was talking to a coach at a College game and he told me Tennessee has a real Hummer coming in next year. She is from California
    Makes you wonder

    Maybe...

Maybe they had to go out of Cal to find teams that would give them respect or a chance! We don't know! Regardless of where they came from, they are attending and playing softball for the U of TN!
I think I understand your point about the majority not being from TN or close surrounding states! But hey there are kids that go to Cal or Ariz or whatever state out west because they felt they had no other choice if they wanted to ever get to play in a World Series. Times are changing and The States east of Tennessee will eventually get recognition too! If we keep supporting the sport improvements will come, little by little, maybe, but they will come!
    Go Lady Vols!!!

    Now....

He is going to need a much higher power at this point...those kids can't hit that nasty change up at all.....I was glad to see the kid who ran into the 2b and cost them a run early get that run (and another) back. I would hate for any kid to have that hanging over them for an entire winter....

    from?

Go to most any major college softball website and look up the roster. You will see players from several states away. These coaches don't care where a player is "from". Their aim is to WIN GAMES, or they don't keep their job for long. This is serious stuff, ya'll. It's not "feel good" and play the locals. If their recruiting budget can stand oit, they go for it.
