Dixie District 2 Rec Softball

    Kings Mtn YMCA Fields(hwy 74/I-85, exit 10a) starting Friday 6pm and 8pm games on 3 fields. Saturday play 10 am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm and
    Championships onSunday 2pm/ if game at 4pm or so for 10u, 12u and the 15u divisions.

    for those who are not on the TB Circuit this weekend and the others who wanta see some good games at the community level, do come by! some good and potientally great players are playing........................................

    Kings Mtn, West Lincoln, Cherryville and Booger City(Lincolnton area) younguns and a bunch of hard working players who are pushing forward and gaining valuable game time experience.:clap:

    I'm glad you posted this tournament, there are alot of young ladies that don't have the opportunity to play travel ball and this will give some of them a chance for some recognition. I am familiar with Dixie softball and there is some very good hidden talent with these teams. Planning on going myself.

    training ground for sure and some do both, tb and dixie, see a bunch who will progress to those tb teams and beyond. exciting times for them and their families.

    7-8 yr old....coach pitch.....Booger City defeated Cherryville
    8-9 yr old........................Cherryville defeated West Lincoln
    10-12 yr old.....................Cherryville defeated West Lincoln
    13-15 yr old.....................Cherryville defeated West Lincoln

    Taylor Laskey, C,(8th grader), 15u, Cherryville....RED is going to be one great catcher!! smart, works and focused! plays 14u travel and could actually play 16u for some teams!

    Hughes kid on WL 15u team(sorry i forgot and negotiated to write it down the first name) is a good outfielder and needs very little polishing!
