    Blues Gold defeated the Tennessee Raiders 5-4 for the championship in Georgia this afternoon. This 9 inning victory over a team with may collegians on the roster qualified the Blues for the World ASA Gold in Oklahoma City.

    Bubba can post the details. All I know is Ashton Ward and Morgan Childers did most of the pitching. I think Kristi Woodall had a bases clearing triple, and I know Courtney Feldon had a big weekend with the bat. Great job ladies!

    Congratulations Lady Blues Gold

    WOW, these girls played there hearts out this weekend. If you have never watched a Gold qualifier, you are in for a treat if you ever get the chance. These teams are big, strong and fast. Our pitchers and defense had to work there tails off to keep these teams from scoring. One mistake and you can be in trouble in a hurry. This team beat some very strong teams this weekend. They did not win the championship. Once they got the bid to play in the National championship in Oklahoma, the last two teams decided to pack up and go home. The blues took 2nd because they were in the losers bracket. This team became the 1st N.C. team to ever qualify for the gold nationals. Thanks to the Players and Coaches for putting on a great show this weekend. GO LADY BLUES GOLD

    Awesome Job Blues !!!

    As described earlier. The Blues played at a super hi level and never gave up. The run that put them in the losers bracket was unearned and as
    CFfastpitch described it only takes one mistake to change the games
    outcome. Super performance by Ashton & Morgan on the hill. Clutch hits
    from up and down the line up. Congrats to these great young ladies & Coach "O"for a landmark performance. Oklahoma City ,here comes the Lady Blues !
