I agree with him. Oregon State was simply the better team on that particular weekend, but I felt like they made the games less enjoyable and cheapened their wins by using such tactics. It seemed a lot like A-Rod's yell or when batters peak at the catcher's signals. You're just not supposed to do things like that.

    Zestos.

I saw the sign on TV one game and freaked. I didn't even know they still existed. I remember eating there in Atlanta as a kid every time we went to visit relatives.

As for the series itself - it was hard to watch Carolina underperform, and even harder to listen to the OSU lovefest the ESPN announcers had going on. As for all the talk about how Carolina couldn't do the fundamantals like sacrificing runners over all I could think about was watching Chad Flack sac bunt two at bats in a row against Rice. And the announcers in those games slobbered all over Carolina and how they played small ball instead of crushing homers all the time. I actually muted the TV for awhile.

The Heels have nothing to be ashamed of - played great all year and made it back to the finals. How many of this years team will leave? I know Woody and Danford are gone. I assume Horton and Carignan are gone. Anybody else leaving? I hope they have enough to get back next year but they'll have a hard time matching the talent level of the last two teams.

I believe Putkonen is going, but Wossa, if Porcello and Harvey go to school, they may be better. Offensively, they will be just as strong if not stronger

    Oh...and they have a Zesto's in Columbia

Red Bear would be a good source of info on what to do in Omaha.
