I was a little surprised to have them cancel the tournament on Sunday. Our team played two games in the rain on Saturday and the rain on Sunday wasn't any worse, although there was some wind. I was curious if the weather got worse in Rock Hill as the morning went on or the fields were not playable? It just seemed strange to cancel a tournament with 96 teams for weather that didn't seem much worse than we saw Saturday. I am sure almost no one received any refund as everyone played 3 or 4 games.

My coaches rode down to Cherry park and the fields at winthrop both had at least a half of inch of standing water around every bag...The fields were definently not playable...Plus it rained hard over night on and off...I would know i couldnt fall asleep...

    Refunds are being issued

Could not play, the fields were under water. <us:boat: I am glad they canceled when they did (8am) rather than make us stay 1/2 day, get wet, then tell us.:taz: <that would have been our parents

If you only got in 2 games, they are sending a partial refund in the next week or so.

Only thing they could have done under the circumstances.

I can't Belive it was cancled, I mean the mudslindgers only played like two games the entire tournament i mean come on! We could have played in the rain. We could have also actually won the tornament i mean worked for frist place and not have tied just cause it was cancled an us and another team was first you know. But to all the other girls on the mudslingers we played great and as a team we really messed togather and thanks for not leaving me out since i didn't know yhall to well.

    thankz

i am now mudslingeruknow not breath&sleepsoftball. An bye the way i usually play short or catcher like all the time but since i moved to the mudslingers i has played right feild and second, but i also play third. The thing is i can play anywhere except for pitcher, and trust me you don't want me to pitch. That would be a nightmare on the feild. I will go to hickory ridge high school next year as a freshman. I am hopeing to play for kelly allen on varsity but i don't know if i am that good. An thanks i am glad to be a part of the family. By the way who are you?:army:
