    he's damn good too. If McDowell had any other offense to speak of it would be a problem for NW4A defences.

    Josh Russell was an all conference selection last year. He passed for about 1900 yards and rushed for over 500 yards with 21 total touchdowns. What about that?

    Yeah I know but then you gotta realize he's an all-state Safety and a kick returner. Plus we did have 7 other all-conference performers. If you have a tremendous runningback of TK, EB and DS's ability then its alot easier to win. But if thats all you got then your done. Yeah hes our superstar but we have enough weapons that hes not everything.

    I know you have other talent, but that did sound funny coming from a Watauga fan, because most people across the state have only heard of him, and consider the Pioneers a "one man show".

    Yeah alot of people think we are a one man show but hopefully we showed that we were not in the playoffs when we beat Page with Eric going out mid-way through the 2nd.

    eric no doubt is the play maker... with him we go to the final four in the state last year... without him we might not even see playoff action... am i sayin there is no others on watauga that can play football no... they are big when it comes to the line... but i am saying without eric they dont win many if any at all... if you dont believe me look at the team from last year when they were JV's as sophomores... they went 0-10 ... the reason? eric was playing varsity but yes watauga has other talent... BIG tightends... good wide receivers... and HUGE linemen
