    Players and Teams To Watch

Please use this thread to list any 2008, 2009 or 2010 players to watch. Who will make an impact with their team? Who will be a possible college prospect? Please list HS teams that are expected to be in the playoffs. List name, position, HS and TB team they play with. If you are not a registered member of TBR, I urge you to register. We need all the help we can to give these young ladies exposure. If any of you are involved in other media outlets, give our girls all the exposure you can. Lets help girls fastpitch softball continue to grow in our area.

Brooke from southpoint will definately compete with Megan Soots from east gaston for dominate catcher in our conference. both should have a fine year and the rest of us will have to figure out how to get our runners past them and how to keep them both off base.

I have to give some props to one young lady listed on Curve White here... Taylor Miller. I have seen and coached my fair share of FP over the last several years and she is a great, great defensive 3B... making the play from her knees to 1B on a sharply hit ball to her right became somewhat routine really (she got her cannon from her mom for what I understand!). Nothing to slite any of the other fine young ladies already mentioned by singling Taylor out but I did want to share my thoughts. Tear 'em up Gunpowder!

Every TB team loaded with talent??

Hey Comet Fan. When you started this thread, did you think you'd get TB coaches listing their entire rosters as players to watch? Come on guys, we could all get on this thread and list our entire TB roster as up and coming players to watch, but would that really be the truth? Let's put an end to the self patronization that flows like a river on TBR.

    Out.

FPitch99. This was not what I was looking for. I wanted girls listed that made a really big impact on their HS team, and would be highly considered as playing at the next level on a softball scholarship. I guess I didn't explain well enough. Right now I will leave the thread a sticky. My hopes for this thread are that the college coaches will see the names and accomplishments of HS players that excel on the field and classroom. A short profile of outstanding players will get their attention hopefully.

We've just started LocalReplay to try to just that. Don't want to post an ad so in brief any team and any player can create their own multimedia sites on LR for free in a matter of minutes. Happy to discuss more offline w/ anyone so don't clog this board.
