Let's not forget that Spencer also has a 38.8 Yard Per Return on Kickoff Returns as well FOR HIS CAREER which include 17 kickoff returns, and a 15.8 Yard Per Return on 17 CAREER Punt Returns. He does bring more to the table then just being a running back, he also is one of our best DB's and had several D1 scholarship offers to play DB. He just elected to go to ECU so he could play Running Back.

Interesting...I did not know that, however, I dont know that you've seen Breitenstein play defense very often...It's pretty insane.

After you guys finish that one, lets debate who is better; Barry Sanders or Emmitt Smith. I would like to hear about other players on your NW4A teams that we should look out for or that will help your teams get to where they will get. I would like to mention some guys that have actually played varsity football during the 2006 regular season:

    #2 Eric "something"(Sr)RB/DB/LB/KR/PR/OL/DL, etc....
#5 Blake Beason(Sr) QB- great arm, can scramble
#10 Adam Chairolanzio(Sr)QB/DB- 3yr. varsity starter, great athlete.
    #13 Grady McKinney(Sr)DL- Should be a stud
#20 Jake Wallace(Jr) TE/LB- 1 of 2 SOPHs that started last year. Big & Fast
#21 Baine Martin(Jr) WR/DB- other SOPH, fast and great athlete & hands
    #22 David Alger(Sr)LB-weighs 170 hits like 270
    #56 Casey Augustine(Sr) OL/DL - Big, fast, and mobile
Sorry if I left anyone out or mispelled any names.

I've heard of Spencer and Kincaid. Surely you guys have other players. Talk 'em up.

Okay here are a few from ACR.....

#1 Darius Spencer - TB/DB/WR/KR - Speed, vision, incredible on kick returns, not to be overlooked as a DB
#2 CJ Davis - WR/TB/DB/KR - Does it all, with speed to burn as well, not to be overlooked as a DB
#14 Alexander Wall - QB - Maybe the best QB in NW4A this year....
#19 Tony Cabral - FB/DL/WR - 88 tackles, 21 for loss as sophomore last year
#44 Rudy Cabral - FB/LB/WR - 134 tackles, 22 for loss as sophomore last year
#73 Deshawn Turner - OL - Top returning offensive lineman

Wall at ACR is not only a great athlete and sees the field well but he has smarts too, he knows when to throw the ball away and when to hold it and take a sack (although at ACR he doesn't need to worry about that too much)

ill give you that you have two studs for running backs there will never be an arguement about that... but i dont see how you can say that wall will be the best qb in the conference when all he is gonna do is hand the ball off 40 times a game... if you were going to look at the best qb you would have to look elsewhere like at freedom or somewhere that passes the ball some... im a watauga fan and i know that watauga is one of the last teams to make an arguement for this but you cant base a qb on how good his passes are in practice... and in walls case thats all he does pass.

WHAT SETS BREITENSTEIN APART FROM THE OTHERS IS THE YARDAGE GAINED AFTER HE GETS HIT. I ALSO SAW WHERE HE HAD 378 RUSHES LAST YEAR WITH OUT A FUMBLE. THAT IS A GREAT STAT.
WASN'T HE VOTED THE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN 2006?
WHO VOTES ON THAT? WHEN DOES THE VOTING TAKE PLACE?

The past two years our QB Kyle Johnson combined to throw for 1943 yards the two years he was our QB. That means he averaged almost 1000 per year, which I think most people would consider pretty good. I agree we do run a lot, but as you can see our QB's having averaged nearly 1000 yards passing per year isn't to be overlooked. You can look somewhere else if you choose but in my opinion A-Wall will be the best in the conference and will shock alot of people.

I have read all the posts on the debate between backs and there are a bunch of smart people hashing that one out. I would like to add my two cents. The coach at East burke told me that Britenstein ran for a unreal amount of yardage against them last year and that didn't even matter. He said, "the kid absolutely killed them on defense." He said, "that Britenstein made so many tackles from his safety position in the run game against East Burke that they could not get a thing going the whole night on O." That being said, When Kincaid played East Burke, I am pretty sure he ran for two long tds, returned a kick for a touchdown and lined up and kicked the game-winning fieldgoal. I started to ask the coaches at McDowell if he drove the bus home and did the laundry after the game. Picking between those two is like choosing between a porterhouse or a filet mignon, either one is topshelf.
