Lady Blues Gold suffer tough loss

Lady Blues Gold suffer a 1-0 loss to the nationally known So. Cal Pumas. The Blues got great pitching from both Morgan and Ashton along with solid defense behind them.

The bats were quieted by a pitcher from the Pumas who is headed to Depaul who finishes yearly in the NCAA top 20.

This was a great loss, great learning experience for the team. The girls are playing solid ball against some of the top Gold teams in the nation.

Next game is against the Mizuno Prid Gold. Game time is 3:00pm EST. This is the final pool play game.

Lady Blues Gold lose a tough one!

The Lady Blues Gold were eliminated today by the Tulsa Eagles Gold 1-0 on a bloop single in the bottom of the 7th. Morgan Childers threw a great game in the circle.

The Eagles are formed of several girls that are either attending or will be attending Oklahoma State University as well as the University of Oklahoma. The team was led in the circle by a pitcher that will be attending Arizona State.

There were several coaches in attendance watching this game. Arizona State, Baylor, Auburn, Alabama, UNLV, Witchita State, Tennessee and UNC just to name a few. The Blues received many respectable comments from several major DI schools.

Was a very productive week for the LBG. Good experience and great exposure.
