There is no truer statement about this time of year. teams like Kerr Lake, Benson, and N. Raleigh have dialed it in at this point and are barely able to field teams.

    Yep.

Make AAU/Showcase become Fall Ball and don't allow HS Summer Teams.

These high school summer teams are an absolute joke for rising jrs and srs. The competition is sub par at best. I went to a game this year in Durham, and I seriously had to leave after 3 hours- the game was only in the 4th inning.
Of the schools Durham Post 7 pulls from, 2 of the coaches will not allow anyone but graduating seniors/ college freshmen to play legion ball.

    No dog in this

Sorry that my post came over bold, like they usually do, I responded to what I perceived as a "not so humble" comment implying that one team gave up, and another team was cocky about it. I know that thats a generalization of a summary. Your post was not offensive. My reply was to point out to TBR that Moe Barbour is a class coach who would never cross the line of good sportsmanship by either his players, fans, coaches, parents, whoever including himself. BTW I've got two DDs.
