I hate that for you JH. I watched you play ball growing up and wow what a stud player! I am still coaching and had hoped you would get the job. Things happen for a reason... You'll land somewhere great! We'll wait and see and head that way! Good luck to you! Call ole Willie!! What a pair you two would be!

There are many great qualities about Henry, but he has a quality that is missing in many others. John Hendricks is loyal and extremely honest...sometimes to a fault. If he is your friend, he is your friend for life.

There's no pretenses in John Hendricks; he is what he is. He won't make excuses and he won't tolerate any. In fact, as I'm thinking of John right now, another thought comes to me. I mean this as a compliment..John Hendricks is "Old School"....kinda refreshing if you think about it.

O'lefty- Although you are disappointed that you did not get the position, it had to be a wonderful learning experience for you to go through the process. Plus the fact that you found out who your friends are and who....well, never mind

It's one of those life experiences that you will always remember and learn from.

On a selfish note, I hope what I read is correct. That you accepted the promotion and will help Coach Knight develop the team into Champions

With those two guys leading LR, they could turn that place into something really big and a powerhouse team. Good Luck to both coaches.

Let's not start hating the program because of an admin choice. I know it a blow to many people. The fact it is done. I think everyone learned not to wait to let their feelings known. Let admin know how happy or sad you are with a program. It puts it in their ear early. Granted you have a 50/50 chance. But, you are in their minds before they look outside. LR is a great school of learning.
