    Lady Blues Gold Pool Play

    The Lady Blues Gold pool play schedule is as follows:

    Lady Blues Gold vs. Georgia Xtreme Gold 8:00pm Sunday
    Lady Blues Gold vs. Texas Storm-Durham Gold 2:30pm Monday

    Blues fall to Ga Extreme 5-3.

    Blues left the bases loaded twice.

    Lady Blues Gold

    The girls played well in their first ever game at the Gold Nationals. Hit the ball well, just couldn't execute a couple innings with runners in scoring position. Courtney Feldon had a good day at the plate.

    Morgan Childers started the game and Kandice Irwin (Knoxville, TN) threw the last three innings.

    Blues Gold play today at 2:30.

    looks like this team is mainly highschool and those that just graduated or at least the ones i recognize. i would like to know how many other teams out there can say the same

    Ashton didn't make the trip I've heard. Looking forward to watching Feldon and Childers down at Upstate, and wish I could have made the trip to Okie City!

    Lady Blues GOLD Win

    Lady Blues Gold pick up first ever Gold Nationals victory with a 4-3 win over the Texas Storm Gold.

    Blues scored a run in the top of the 2nd with Christina Melton leading the inning off with a single. She advanced to 2nd on a fielders choice. Bethaney Wells had a line drive base hit to score Melton for the first run of the game. Blues then scored 3 runs in the top of the 3rd with 4 straight singles by Sarah Rappe, Kristi Woodall, Courtney Feldon and RBI single by Taylor McGee. Melton was hit by a pitch with the baseloaded to score McGee and Bethaney Wells added another RBI single.

    Blues played solid defense behind winning pitcher Kandice Irwin. The Storm posted a threat in the bottom of the 5th on 4 base hits a BB and an 2 run error to score 3 runs. Morgan Childer came in to close out the inning and the game to pick up the save and secure the win for the Blues Gold.

    Courtney Feldon 2x3
    Bethaney Wells 3x3

    Save Morgan Childers

    Blues Gold start bracket play tomorrow at 1:00pm vs. All American Sports Academy (California)
