Just curious! Are there any pre-game-night before a tournament foods that you have your dd's or team have for supper? What foods are good to eat the day of the tournament to help maintain the players? Just wondering if there a standard meal that you follow. Inquiring minds want to know!:gossip:

during the day, cold fruit like grapes, orange slices, apples and bananananas. pizza and pasta the night before and subway for lunch.
water, gatorade but never, and i mean never any soft drinks, have seen too many girls pass out because of drinking them and not water.

    good luck this weekend

Agree!!!! That's pretty much what we do, except sometimes after a long day at the fields it's good to sit down with friends, have a steak, a cold one of your choice, and talk about the positives of the day!!!!!!! It feels great for teams to bond after long weekends.

Cheeze hit the nail on the head, Subway lunch Perfect!!!! Fruit, and protein/power bars, trail mixes, during and in between games! Soft drinks a BIG NO NO! WATER A BIG YES YES! The hotter the weather the more water you drink!! Our DD says that Gatorade makes her mouth to sticky, says she can't spit like she needs to, while on mound, Yuck!, she wants water!!!

At the end of the day go and eat really good mexican food and drink a really cold margarita!!!! (the adults of course) the kids can have more water!!! Ha Ha

WHAT TO HAVE FOR SUPPER-YUM, YUM!

Thanks for all the replys on the supper list. Gave out hand outs over the week-end of the newspaper article to all our parents. Learned some more from a couple of moms on our team. Thanks, again David Hill
