    Friday night things didn't quite go according to the script Cam would have written. He started in left, hit 2nd, batting in front of Sheffield. Unfortunately Pettit threw a gem for the Yankees. We followed it on the internet.

    Cam struck out twice, grounded out to the catcher (swinging bunt?), & flew out to deep right (mini-positive: had to be a warning track shot).

    The Tigers/Yanks play at 3:30 on Fox today. Hope he gets another shot.

    CamBam with his 1st Major League HomeRun off Roger Clemons in Yankee Stadium... WOW!!! :worshippy:

    Was privileged to get to know Cam at many AAU tournaments just a few years ago,,, glad to see good things happening for a very classy and talented young man...

    McCarver & company giving him alot of props. And Leyland too. Compared Cam to Kirk Gibson (speed & power).

    And to do it at Yankee Stadium off the Rocket. Funny line: "Clemmons had 40 wins with Boston before Cameron Maybin was even born!":clap:

    Looks like he is gonna face Mo in the 9th. Pettite,Clemens and Mo in his first two games. WELCOME TO THE' SHOW KID!!!! Give em HELL Cam!!!!
