    18U Blues 2-1 over Mchone Cardinals record 3-0 so far

    16u Blues 5-1 over Cht. Blaze
    Blues 10-8 over Carolina Lookouts

    Record 2-2 so far in first 16u Tourney

    Lady Blues-White 0

    Very respectable showing this weekend by the Heat 16U. They continue to work hard and are getting better and better. They played the Sting dead even 0-0 until the last inning when the Sting got one in on us. Some very entertaining games. Nice job with the girls Barry and Marty!

    Lady Blues 18U played well winning all five games. Good bracket with Cobras, Storm, Cardinals, Diamonds, Flames. WE just hit well and got some good pitching and defense. We know any of these teams could do the same thing next week.

    rising Sophomore Ashley Rhyne from West Lincoln and rising Junior Laura Hopper from East Rutherford......both did EXCELLENT work this weekend. Laura pitched first, third, and 5th games, while Ashley pitched 2nd and 4th ones, with some sharing of the innings in first couple games I believe. Laura is the "lefty" and Ashley is "righty".
