    Donations

We have had several people mention they can't play this weekend, but want to send a donation to the Waugh's. You can send it to my house in Terry's or Keyndal's name and I will make usre they get it.

I spent the morning and mid afternoon at the tournament today. saw some good ball playing and great fellowship. but the highlight of my day was sitting eating watermelon with kendyal, ms peeler and ms wells.

you could look at kendal and know these treatments had tired her out pretty well. you could look in her eyes and see she was tired, but start talking about softball and the future and those beautiful eyes lite right up. you have my utmost respect for holding that chin up and bravely getting through this with out looking for any sympathy from anyone. it was quite obvious that sympathy was the last thing you were looking for. I hope the last two treatments go well, i hope you get your strength back soon and this cancer stays in remission forever, and above all, i hope you and i remain friends!!!

and thanks to everyone who participated in the fundraiser, it was worth the heat and it even came with a college coach doing some looking!!!!

    Tourney

GREAT turnout today at Mulberry Rec Center in Lenoir, NC! Thanks to all the teams that participated in the event. Sun Devils, Cobras, Challengers, Curve, Storm, Phantoms, Spartans, Panthers, Troublemakers, FootHills Extreme.

Thanks to the umpires who either donated all or part of their money.( I don't think anyone would've cared if they didn't donate as hot as it was.) Brathel Poarch, Glenn Howell, Roddell Thompson, Kim Badger, Chad Towery, and Mike Evitt all worked in the extreme heat today.

Thanks to the Cobra family for their help in putting this on! Thanks to Lenoir Parks and Recreation(Sharon Poarch and staff!) for the wonderful job on the facility, they fixed the fields every two games!

Thanks to Cheeze for all the donations, 2008 Rocket Tech and 5 Anderson Bat Bags! Thanks to all the parents, coaches, and players!

Thanks to all who sent donations to support the cause!
