10 names here so far. Six of them do not play for the Dirtbags. I encourage anyone to post about players. This thread is about 09 players that you have seen and believe are good players. Instead of getting off track why not post about players? It could be that alot of people only know of players at their HS. It could be that people only know about players in their conference. I dont know. But why everytime we try to post player names and information it ends up being a discussion about Legion or showcase or something entirely different than the thread was meant to be about? I dont know.

Heck you pointed one out.........Alot of great 09's but some are more familiar to some than others. You can rest assured if some of these guys recognize a players ability and praise it, it has been earned. Case in point, Coach May

 

OK guys! I've read this thread for 2 days and have to say that so far it is a fine promotion of players in the central/eastern part of the state. There was a pure 2009 team out of mainly the Charlotte Metro area this past summer that was more than the best 2009 team in NC as they are one of the best in the nation. The South Charlotte Panthers 2009's placed 3rd out of 72 teams in the USA Baseball Junior Olympics and tied for 3rd out of 100 teams in the PG WWBA 16u this past summer. I'm not going to list all the players as Coach H keeps it simple on TBR by just posting the game stats win or lose so folks see the results. Just know that you'll be hearing alot about the players on this team for the next 2 years.

The On Deck O's 2009 team is also stacked with a bunch of Charlotte players as well.

I could be wrong but I get the impression you feel that the SCP 09 team is not getting any respect on this thread. And from your post I get the impression that all the respect is being given to Central and Eastern 09 players. The fact is people post on players they know. People post on players they have seen. Im sure I would be posting on Charlotte Metro area players if I got the opportunity to see them. There can be no doubt there is a ton of talent on that SCP team. Im sure I will be hearing alot about these guys over the next two years. But why should I have to wait to hear about them?
