Butler has a new head coach.

    Brian Cottem is the Varsity coach at Butler HS.
    He has coached at Randolf ms when fastpitch was first started in CMS and has been an active baseball coach for many years at the HS and travel level.
    Coach Cottem stresses fundamentals and hard work as the ticket to success.
    Brian will play a big part in Butlers continuing the level of play that has become expected of our club.
    Welcome Brian as the Bulldogs head coach. :hurray:

    Good for Butler, thanks Ray for the info. It appears U are pleased and that goes along way toward the success cause U certainly know what it takes to coach fastpitch. Will U still be involved? Hope to see U there in the spring.

    Yeah I will still be there as will Barry.I have known coach Cottem since my DD played for him back whenFastpitch first started in the school system he is a good guy, and has all the tools to help the Lady Bulldogs continue their success.

    I have known Brian a long time. He is an excellent coach. He should have been given an opportunity to become a HS baseball coach a long time ago. I'm glad that he was given this opportunity and Butler will gain from his knowledge. He knows everything about coaching...from conducting great practices to the art of hitting as well as to how to motivate a team.

    Congratulations to Butler in their new hire. You got a good one.!!!!

    Congrats

    We will miss Coach Cottem on the baseball field, but are glad he stayed within the Bulldog family. Congratulations to Coach Cottem.
