Hey, it's all good man. I'm not all that upset. It just kills me to see that kind of talent get run down. I coached against this kid in youth league and even then he was a man among boys. He has a big heart and goes hard every play.

It's frustrating that McDowell has this kind of talent and cant get the wins. It is not these kids fault they are losing!

I don't know how bad AC will beat McDowell this year, and AC is the premier program in WNC. Anyone must admit that much. HOWEVER, there hasn't been a running back at AC with Buggy level talent since Carey Metts and Bobby Bowen played there over 20 years ago. Don't be so sure that you can stop him any better than any other team. They win, but they still can't stop him.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
The kid is a great athlete, and he can gain 200, 300, or 400 yards against us, but if we win that is all I really care about. This is a team sport and winning is what matters to us.

    BigDan,
I have agreed with everything you have ever said on TBR. But im sorry man you're wrong. Terrance, Buggy, Tustle, Kincaid, Jesus, War Chief Jackson, whatever you wanna call him, is good enough to be THE running back at State, Carolina, South Carolina, or Wake. Just some of the schools that have been interested in him. Buggy is the exact same size as Tiki Barber and is faster by .3 of a second. Tiki didn't have the academic problems, but if Tiki can do it, TUSTLE CAN DO IT! Kids at MHS have been helping him and it is showing, big time. He is the most likeable kid you will ever meet. Everyone wants to see him succeed and i am convinced that he will.

I respect your opinion but here's something you gotta remember...

When major D1 programs recruit athletes like that of Buggy, they recruit them in bunches so they can take care of more than one need. I never said Terrance couldn't play tailback at the 1-A level, I just said he would be as suitable at defensive back than at running back. If somehow Buggy can make it and get on at a 1-A school, he's gonna have to compete with at least three or four guys equal if not better than him at the tailback postion. And most times those guys who are deep in the depth chart at running back end up converting to a postion on defense.

On the otherhand if Buggy went 1-AA or maybe a lower tier 1-A program, then he's the guy that coaches would focus their offense around. If Buggy could suit up for Western Carolina this weekend, he would start at tailback

Sounds like the kind of player that they Happy Appys wouldn't mind suiting up.

Get him up here! Can you imagine if the Apps could reel in Buggy and EB in the class? Not out of the question if you ask me

Could you imagine the backfield? Terrence Kincaid (McDowell), Eric Breitenstein (Watauga), and Trey Hennessee (Freedom) at Tight End. The Nw4A is well represented! Other Nw4A players include Seth Breitenstein (Watauga), Jim Bob Norman (Watauga), and Brad Hardee (South Caldwell)

If Coach Jerry Moore could get both Kincaid and Breitenstein, he's just solidified the Mountaineers for additional SoCon championships, and possibly more national championships.
