I agree with the response of getting the girls together and watching the movie Facing The Giants. This movie is a true illustration of how a coach can change the demeanor of football team. Every christian parent should pray for their child to play for someone with christian values. Be careful not to label the players as a "bad apple syndrome" without examining the coach.

welcome to tbr softball forum l&d4softball, nice first post, it rings true. I've had girls who were labeled by their former coach as a "team cancer" play for me and were great kids. got to give every new player a fair chance and a fresh start no matter what you've heard

I agree 100%. Base it on personal observation and interaction over and extended period of time. However, don't let it hurt other kids when you keep trying year after year to change whats not going to change.

Go to one tournament that's at the beach and treat it as a softball tournament/vacation for the girls. Don't put any ephasis on the games played at the tournament just let them play the games and then enjoy themselves for the rest of the trip (ideally the games end a few days before the trip is over).
