Congrats to Madison and the Bumgarner family. Wow, to be 18 and a millionare. Good luck to the young man, here's hoping he's the next great left handed pitcher in the majors.

    Congratulations Madison

Congratulations to Madison Bumgarner. $2 million signing bonus!

If you go to the San Francisco website and click on Madison's picture and then click on Giant's, Bumgarner discuss signing you can hear Madison's first interview as a major leaguer.

    Assignment

When and where is Madison's first assignment? I watched the Braves and Nationals last night and the #6 pick in this year's draft pitched a inning for the Nats against the Braves. Good luck to Madison.

The way the Nats play at time they need to open the draft just so they could get rid of some dead weight.

    Plate Dad,
The Nationals 1st Round Pick (Detweiler - LHP) is a more seasoned player who has pitched (very well) for Team USA and in the Cape. I'm glad to see you are so excited for Madison to advance but it would have been a tremendous disservice to him to put him in a situation he could not handle.

All in due time my friend. All in due time.
