    The worst is still over Northern Alabama. I can't imagine anything wanting to hang out in Northern Alabama very long.

    For you fellow TBR members who don't know I follow the weather as a hobby so I know a few things about how mother nature works. My guess is that all the precip currently over the mountains will begin to taper down to a heavy drizzle by early afternoon especially if you are I-40 and south. The remnant low of Humberto which is located over Alabama should make its way into the western carolinas this evening towards game time. So the question is...will we have enough of a window during the afternoon to go ahead and get the visiting team committed to making the trip? That's the question to be decided? And I personally don't think lightning will be an issue.

    It's days like today I am glad we have turf at ACR. We may still not play, but on the "other" ACR website it says rain or shine!

    game is postponed at titan stadium until tomorrow- havent heard a time yet but def not gonna be played tonight

    Watauga at Ashe has been postponed and will kickoff Monday night at 7:30 due to the fact that in Boone and West Jefferson we have another kind of football on Saturdays.

    The Wilkes Central at Alexander Central game has been postponed to Saturday afternoon at 4. The Chamber of Commerce Street Dance is set for Saturday night in Taylorsville, thus the early kicktime.
