that the Caldwell County team is very good. And you should be proud of these boys. But touting a #1 National ranking for 15 year olds? Or touting any ranking for 15 year olds? Who is doing the rankings? Have they actually seen every 15 year old team in the nation? I remember people talking about teams when my son was 12 13 in AAU. Hey we are ranked #5 in the nation!! Or "We are playing the Cyclones and they are the #3 ranked team in the nation". My response always was "By who, and how can they know"? Does this now mean that the On Deck team is #1?

Heat Showcase 15U won this weekend in the Spartans tournament. Wow a 15U Showcase team! They are probably #1 team in the universe. This stuff is getting silly. I'm thinking of starting a 10U showcase team. Any takers?

Grow Up!!!!!!!!

Oh please!!!!!! Everybody just needs to grow up. OMagic is just proud of the Spartan team, just like everybody is proud of theirs. At least OMagic is not trash talking other teams. These are just kids having fun! You can tell the mentality of the teams and fans that brings others down. No team is going to play perfect every game, that's what keeps it exciting. By the way I have been doing some checking and this Spartan team really is made up of boy's from the same school (originally I had my doubts) that show's they got a good thing and don't have to pull players from everywhere just to make a team for the weekend like the rest of us, they have alot of talent and they will be together for a long time not just weekend ball. Oh yeah by the way, does anybody know if the O's won this tournament that they beat the Spartans in??? Way to go O's for playing good this weekend and congratulations Spartan's for your hard work too. I know the players had fun playing and appreciated the competition. It's just the grown-ups that can't handle a little competition. I am sure with so many good teams playing USSSA baseball we will be hearing alot more about good weekend games. Just be proud of the boys!

Everyone is proud of the boys because that is what it is about. One thing I can say about the Spartans is that they are lucky with the coaching at the HS level they will get. I've watched S. Caldwell play many times and all I can say is the intensity level and the expectation those HS coaches have is what I wish my son could experience here @ his HS.
