Omagic Completely Missed the Point

Omagic, the animosity (if there was any) was directed at YOU for the deceitful and self serving manner in which you made your initial post several weeks ago.

No one has an ax to grind with a team of 15 year old boys nor do they have an issue with Caldwell County. You were bragadocious and presented a flimsy and false argument that has absolutely no chance of passing muster on a board filled with coaches, scouts, former players and the like.

You brought this on yourself and now you (and a few others) want to redirect it at those that "called you out" to make it look like we are berating the performance of 15 year old boys.

YOU MISSED THE POINT! This is my last post regarding this subject. My advice to you is to read more and post (much) less going forward.

Braves, i know it is early but he is working with the first team in left field. Their is a lot of talent at UNCW. he went 3 for 4 in their first inter squad game last wednesday. It was also great to see danny noel(Independence) and matt robinson(Butler) out their. They are trying to walk on. Great kids and great talent. I know they will do well.

 

boils down to this. alot of other counties want what caldwell county has.

 

I agree with you on this but I think omagic just got a little too happy over the team from Caldwell. He meant well and didn't try to put his team over anybody elses. He probably could have worded it differently so that he would catch any crap from anybody. You had some good research and I commend you on that. You find stuff out and actually post true infomation which I truly respect. But we should probably try to take it easy on this from here on out and respect teams for what they do and the players who play on those teams. But I think we have made known on here to post accurate information about teams but in the same sense we need to be positive about these kids and the great things they are doing on and off the field.

Good luck to the Caldwell team and every team out there making a reputation about the talent located here in NC and SC.

When you put a bullseye on your back (#1 in the nation ) never be surprised when someone shoots at you. In fact, expect it because its coming.

No one bashed the boys. I think its great they have a team and all of them are from the same area. Thats a great way to build your program from level to level.

Get this bullseye off my back, I'm dying here. Sure hate it that I have struck a nerve with so many people. I was only stating what was in black and white by USSSA. If you have a problem with it don't shoot the messenger. These boys have fought tooth and nail for years to get where they are now-#1 in state-#1 in nation. (SORRY, I had to say it again) That will be the last time you will hear that from me. Thanks for everyones support. Still have that SPARTAN PRIDE!

 

Don't go running off now. We have made mistakes before and now its fine. We all know you are happy for these boys like we all are. You know you may have said some things wrong or not like you meant for them to sound but thats over and done with. Keep posting and let us know how these guys do and don't think you can't post anymore.

Its good to see people excited about baseball and supporting those that play it and work hard at it.

 

This is getting funnier by the minute.

With any data that is generated there is the element of the quality or validity of the data that should be considered in the hypothesis's that the data itself suggests.

Facts are factual in degrees or in other words how true is it true or how false is it false. Things are not necessarily black and white all the time or any of the time for that matter.

I give all credit to these kids where credit is do them. If they can keep that rating or maybe a top 5 rating through the fall and on into spring, playing in lets say no less than 10 tournaments, and playing at AAA/MAJ level, THEN the data that is represented (those rankings) is appreciatively validated!

Not knocking anyone here just posting an opinion.
