Looking for any successful ideas that have worked in the past for fundraising. We are a new 14u team that has played a couple of tournaments, mainly paid out of pocket by head coach.
Post ideas out in the forum or you can pm me with more details:helpsmilie:
    Thanks in advance...

    Krispy Kreme

We have done Krispy Kreme in the past. If you sell 300 dozen @ $5 a box, you will gross $700 or $750 if I remember correctly. Also, the candy bar sell is always good if you have parents who work in factories or know lots of people. Dominos pizza has cards to sell for $10 in a buy one/ get one deal. And Finally, check with your local Wal-Mart/ Sam's Club about their community involvment programs. In most cases they will donate the goods, let you sell them in front of the store, and match what you sell.

    Good Luck!!

    Sam's Club

Our team used Sam's Club to beg for money. You can even do a cook-out and sell food. You need to try and reserve a spot during the fall for say next spring or summer. Spring is the best time to do it. The last couple of times we did it we raised over 1,000 dollars. If you have a Tax ID number Sam's will match it also up to 1,000 dollars. Wal-Mart or Dicks places like these are good also. Ladies do not have any problem begging fior money.

    Auto Bell

If you have a non profit tax-id, you can sell Auto Bell coupons. The tickets are $12.95 each and the team keeps 50% of each ticket sold. Auto Bell fronts 102 tickets and once you turn in the money to them for their half for the first batch, you can get another batch of 102 tickets. Its a great item to sell - as in they are useful versus "junk". No expiration date and they are valid at all locations. The money adds up real fast.

You can go to their website www.autobell.com and click on their fundaising link for contact information.

    Hope that helps.

It may be too late, but I would still inquire. The Panthers allow for teams to work their concessions. But they take this very seriously. If you miss one game or do not have enough volunteers from agreed upon number, you will not be allowed back. It will take a team commitment, but the results are fantastic. Our group raised $20,000 over the entire season.

I overheard some parents from the Southern Shock talking about working the Bojangles area at a race sometime. They were working shifts and had to be covered all the time. I do not know all the info, but you might could talk with one of their parents or Ricky Broome head coach.

    Athletic Boosters

Many of you are probably on the athletic boosters from your school. I went to some of our sponsors to see if they could help with my DD's new team. You would be amazed how many resources you can find when just asking. By networking with fellow boosters and asking "banner supporters", I have made some really nice deals for next spring.

    Fund Raisers

Have done all the above mentioned fund raisers, especially Bojangles, Frozen Lemonade, Panthers, etc. Only comment, when U take into account hours worked, people needed, intensity of work needed, U are paid less than mimimun wage for your efforts. Some of us have worked 16 hours if U include clean-up, etc and bring home $1000. (12-15 people needed) Just understand the committment. Does bring parents and players together as a team!
Golf tournaments with hole sponsors, fastpitch clinics, softball tournaments can give higher return for hours worked. Raffles if prize donated, car washes, garage sales, have also worked.

    Golf tournaments rock

After you get your hole sponsors and donations for door prizes, sit back and watch the dollars flow...LOL Talk with local drink vendors about sponsoring the refreshments. If your around the Catawba/ Iredell county areas, pm me. I know the plant managers for Pepsi and Cheerwine. The bad thing with drink vendors is, they may have set territories that they cannot cross. Charlotte is strickt on allowing outside vendors to come into their area. Check with the companies and network to reach your goals. :gnorsi::iagree:
