Hit-a-thon

I have held a Hit-a-thon with my teams since 1997. We have raised anywhere from $4000 to over $10,000. The actual hit-a thon takes about 2 hours. When needed, this is the only fundraiser we do.

Fall is the best time to start this. PM me and I will be happy to give you more details and provide you the forms we use.

 

Sport market stores/ businesses

I just landed a deal with Moretz Sports in Newton for the Lady Blues organization for 08. If you go in to set up an appointment, dress nice, bring past schedules (along with finishes W/L) in a well organized booklet then I feel anything can happen. I was asking for help with the 14u team and over a two day span received the deal for three teams. The plant manager was even nice enough to give sock samples for this fall to see what the teams like best comfort and durability wise. They will use this as an opportunity to develop better socks for sports. By the way, the socks will be Under Armor. I can sell teams socks if you give me the colors and how many you want. Pm me more more info. The money I receive goes back into the Lady Blues.

Yes, you are right. This is a post about FUNDRAISING opportunities.

If you get there at the right time there is an outlet store around back that you can purchase Under Armor socks as well as other brands for as low as $2 per pair, many of their socks also vary in price and packages. They do have many styles and colors also. They have regular and dress socks as well. This is a post about FUNDRAISING opportunities, and if someone wanted some socks I can sell them for $3 a pair WITH PERMISSION from the plant manager as a FUNDRAISING opportunity for our team(s). $1 Profit yes, but the money would go back to the LBs. With gas prices being what they are, you save money. If anyone wants directions to the factory, I will gladly tell them.

Glad to see you're with a new team and that you're excited to help them financially. I'm sure the other teams that you've left behind are disappointed to lose you and your family. You seem like good softball people.
