2008 Class commitment

Constance Orr of Butler HS and the Lady Blues has verbally committed to play for the UNC Tarheels. This young lady is a 15 year old senior that plays well beyond her years and has been a major contributor to the Blues and the Bulldogs on and off the field. She will make an immediate impact in the ACC.

Travis and Helen you have worked hard for this young lady to acheive this honor! Congratulations to the Orr family! The Blues family is so happy for you!

Fantastic Talent!....

.....is what Constance Orr will bring to UNC. She is one of, if not the best ballplayers that I've had the pleasure to watch. I tried my best to pursuade her into coming to Raleigh and wear the RED, BLACK, AND WHITE. UNC is getting a bluechipper here. Shes also a damn good kid with smarts and class that we are all proud of. No more prouder than her parents who have always been supportive of Constance AS WELL AS her teammates AND her opponents. Travis and Helen are parents that everyone in the stands appreciate. Sorry, but GO PACK!

Way to go Constance I am proud of you. You are an outstanding all around player and you deserve it. Wow 15 and going to UNC. See ya at Pitching Tuesday and be ready to get a workout and bring your weighs also tell your dad to bring his armor. Looks like you, Morgan Peeler and Christina Melton are going to be going at it next year. I am proud of all of you girls. Looks like I have allot of games to see.

A big congrats Constance !! You definiately deserve it !! Good to see UNC getting more Carolina talent. Travis you can breathe now,LOL. Have to agree with Marlin, would've looked better in Red,Black, & White, but you will do very well in the Blue. Could we hear of another committment to UNC before long ? Go Pack !!!

 

Four kids

Heard four kids were up there this past weekend and I am sure U know one of them well! U never know but all four were quality players.

 

Yes I do, & I hope it works out for her. A diploma from UNC carries alot of weight. more so than most schools in the south. I sure hope they consider this, as the education is what it is all about. Aside from the fact that is a beautiful campus. But I still have to be partial to my Wolfpack, right Marlin ?

...you know that this thread is to congrat Constance. This should not be the place, atleast at this time, to make such statements, CORRECT AS THEY ARE, about the best college sball team in the state. I'm proud of Constance and wish she was going to be with us at "THE UNIVERSITY". Go Pack!
