Batting Helmet Question

    I have a couple of issues that I would like some feedback on.
    No #1- I need some feedback on the Wilson NXTGEN Batting Helmet and Face Guard.
    No#2 - Based on experience, what is the best facemask/helmet combo on the market today for weight and vision?

    Easton Stealth

    My DD has the Easton Steath with a Rip-It mask Seems to be a good combination. The Stealth is light and small It has to be ordered by size Only drawback is I think is was about $70.00 for both

    Shutt helmet and mask: $29.95 works great, has good vision and you can spend your left over funds on other items. Also can get two color combo

    Helmet Faceguard suggestion

    Coach S this is nice combo. DD can bring it to school if you want to see it live.
    Schutt S2800PT Helmet

    Spyder mask

    We use the Spyder mask. IMO the clearest vision of any mask out there. Different helmets for different girls. Depends on what feels good to them.

    This is the one I use, and I've tried lots of them. This is the lightest yet, then a close second is the Rip-It. But the picture combo shown is EXACTLY the one I use...the Adams helmet and the Spyder facemask. The Adams is WAY lighter than the Schutt! And with all the air flow, my head don't sweat as much....as nasty as that may sound....:thinking2:

    Chin Straps!!!!!!!....

    .....don't forget their purpose. My DD has a collision that drove her facemask into her teeth. Oh, yep....the result was a trip to the emergency room and then to her orthodontist who had to cut her braces off her teeth and then remove them from the inside of her lips! That chinstrap didn't do crap in this case and the facemask became the problem.
