    is it too early?

    Final Standings:

    1. Watauga (8-3), (5-1)
    2. AC Reynolds (7-3), (5-1)
    3. East Burke (9-2), (4-2)
    4. Freedom (3-7), (3-3)
    5. South Caldwell (6-5), (2-4)
    6. McDowell (3-8), (2-4)
    7. AC (2-9), (0-6)

Yes, this means WHS beats ACR on senior night and Freedom beats East Burke on FAT FRIDAY.

No way AC goes 0-6 in Conference......the front end of the Schedule has been tough, these last 3 they can go 3-0. I think they beat Freedom and SC (both are home games)

You're going to have to stop drinking that Avery County Moonshine. Watauga beating ACR is wishful thinking. I would like to see it happen just to give East Burke a share of the conference title, but unless Watauga can find a way to let Britenstein rest and let him run the ball 40 times there's no way. Freedom beating East Burke on Fat Friday (I don't think so). I've watched this same EB team from little league and they always beat the West end of the county. ACR and East Burke finish 1 and 2. If Watauga stays together they finish 3rd. AC is 4th, Freedom McDowell and South.

Indy dreams are not reality in most cases and your dream is not reality speaking of your predictions.Time of possession is determined by you not the opposing team, simply said do something with the ball when you have it. EB did have the ball alot but thats bacause you kept giving it back to EB. Watauga had nothing no passing and your running was left in Boone. ACR is a far better team. Upsets do happen thats what makes us watch so good luck in a couple weeks.
    1st / ACR
    2nd / EB
    3rd / Wat.

reynolds will not lose to watauga. if watauga tackles spencerbetter than mcdowell did (which shouldnt be hard) they will keep it close but i dont see them winning. spencer is too fast and reynolds defense is too solid.
east burke will finish second followed by watauga. the conference will end in the order up top that it should. reynolds is just better. east is close second and watauga is just not as good as they were last year.

I think you need to go back and look at the stats. Time of posession was more about EB's offense than WHS offense. There was basically 2 possession in the 1st. We started out w/ 6 plays. I don't think that consitutes giving it back. EB then ran off 16 plays. How do you blame that on the offense. We then get a drive that overlaps the the 1st and 2nd quarter. However we did give the ball back to EB after 14 plays and a TD. I'm not sure if that proves your point. In the 2nd half, we had 4 possession of which only 1 was 3 and out. EB had 3 drives of 13 or more plays in the whole game. Again, how does that reflect on WHS offense?

As for my predictions, ACR was tremendously better than us last year and we won at ACR. The gap has closed. This is Eric's senior night. I dare ACR to come up here and underestimate us. At the begining of the year, we all picked Freedom to finish in the top 3. I hope EB goes there expecting to win. Throw the records out in that one.

Also mtnman, I can look ahead to ACR. I'm already thinking about next year. That's right, I'm looking past South Caldwell and Freedom. I don't think any of this will effect my play. I will perform in the stands just like I always do...100%

i hope the team does not think like you indy85,as a fan you do what you feel like doing.i could care less about acr till we play them, and if we keep playing like we did at east we will get beat bad ,they will come to play after what we did last year but still dont care tiil we play them.and if we wouuld have give eric the ball took some time off the clock ,but we pass dont catch it stops the clock then punt.give it to eric get 5 yards at a time get 1st downs and keep there offence off the field thats how an offence helps your defence you should know that,if you know anything about this game we call football.
