    To all our family and friends,

    Just a little update. On Saturday, October 13th, 2007 at 4:30am, Casey had a massive stroke. He was hospitalized in Monroe, NC where we live. He is 46 years old and in pretty good health. The cause of the stroke is still under investigation. He has lost the use of the left side of his body, but has feeling and reflexes. Today, Thursday, 18th he has been moved to the Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation for aggressive therapy to regain use of his body. He has a tough road ahead, but he is very determined to beat this. He has everything going for him and on his side.

    Casey is in God's hands and I know he something great planned out for him. So keep him in your prayers and just lift him up. I will try and update you of his progress every few days.

    My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family.... Rehab is hard but I bet you are stronger!! Lean on God for strength, he doesn't mind!

    Wow, rash of these going around. EVERYONE get your cholesteral checked. As a young stroke survivor, i wish the Johnson family the very best. All the prayers and encouragement are what kept me and my family going,and getting back to the ball field and TBR was highly motivating to me. Stay strong and stay positive there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sammie, Diana, Ashley, and Morgan
